Polar View delivers services that address
both the operational and scientific needs of stakeholder groups who
are interested in issues related to sustainable economic development,
marine safety, and the environment. As a result, stakeholders have better
information for decision making and planning.
Currently, Polar View works with over
60 different user groups, including government departments, scientific
institutes, northern residents, and private sector clients with commercial
interests in the Polar Regions.
Polar View services are offered in the
Arctic and Antarctic, as well as mid-latitude areas with significant
snow and ice across Europe, Russia, Canada, and the North Atlantic.

Polar View's sea ice monitoring
and forecasting service includes a variety of specific technical
products that meet user information requirements regarding timely
data on sea ice and other met-ocean conditions essential for all
types of marine operation in Polar Regions.

on Climate Change Adaptation Indicators
using the information collected from the service lines. The report assists
international and national organizations in assessing and reporting
on the status, trends and implications of climate change.
